India,the country of mysterious paradoxes; the land where civilizations and timesintermix, a mysterious place which attracts people from all over the world. 

This collection by designers Ekta & Ruchira was inspired by old portraits of Indian Royalty, who show impeccable style and flare for sartorial flamboyance!

 The royalty till about the late 20th Century was the patron of Indian art, craft and textiles! This had a strong reflection on their attires! This collection was a contemporary celebration of Indian textiles which connects the past with our present! Textiles which draped the royalties of the past had been reinvented fortoday's elite!

 The emphasis was on using painstaking weaving and embroidery techniques! The colours range from ritualistic kora - red, to more dramatic and flamboyant black and brights!
